greetings from guatemala!

hello. I'm finally back!, I feel so awful that I neglected this space and amamo for so long but the truth is that many changes were occurring in my life and I needed some time to make the transition.

To make a long story short... I got married and moved all the way to Guatemala city, Guatemala!

I've been here for about 4 months now and surprisingly to me, I have adapted very easily. (more on that soon)

My goal is to get amaamo back and running as quickly as possible, but it all depends how easily it would be to find all the screen printing materials, I need to analyze how I will like to keep moving forward with the line (design wise), I need to get the designing going—plus I need to figure out how the shipping and all the logistic involved will work.

All I know at this moment is that I need to get back on my feet and continue working on amaamo, I missed it very much.

amaamo stockists...

The online store will be closed for a bit due to life changes (I will tell all at the appropriate time), I will be revamping amaamo, need some time to create new designs and products + other factors.

But!, I have great news... fabulous news!, a few weeks ago El Museo del Barrio got in touch with me because they were interested in selling my tees at their gift shop and after meeting with them it was a done deal! — I am so happy beyond words, I am a great admirer of the museum, their cause and feel truly honored.

At this time, amaamo tees will be sold exclusively at El Museo del Barrio in New York City.

The museum spent the last year or so closed since they were going through renovations. They are scheduled to open their new facilities on October 17, 2009, which will include a new gallery, a cafe and courtyard. To join the festivities just click here for additional info.

Please stay tuned, I will be back soon with new amaamo goodness! :)
