Renegade, here we come!

ok, I was keeping a little secret for almost two months
and now I can finally tell the whole world!

I am a huge fan of the Renegade Craft Fair and have been going religiously for the past 3 years. I love their commitment to the crafting community, mission + purpose --- it has grown to be a wonderful annual event in which all these amazing crafters get the opportunity to showcase and sell their work.

After assisting last year, I decided that I needed to stop daydreaming, take the plunge and to finally make my dreams come true - that's how amaamo was born.

I started taking screen printing classes, designing, developing the brand, working on a website and all the never ending work that entails building a business... thankfully I had my amazing boyfriend by my side, helping me and guiding me through the process.

Well, to make the long story short — my ultimate goal was to show and sell my work by the following year at the fair and this past January decided that I wanted to give it a try and see if my application was accepted.

Since the fee was a bit high the super talented Tess from Nova Design and I got together and decided to join forces and apply together.

Yesterday, we received an email from Renegade saying that are application was accepted and that we were going to be part of the fair this summer!

Tess and I are going to be sharing a tent and I can truly say that I feel very honored to share and experience that moment with such talented designer!

You can check her Etsy shop here.

She creates beautiful jewelry, below is one of my favorites.

I cannot put into words how meaningful this is to me, little by little by dreams are coming true.

I will keep you posted and remind you when the event it's almost near
but FYI, this year's fair will be held June 6 + 7th from 11am to 7pm at the McCarren Park
in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Renegade, here we come!
